Topical Numbing
This involves using a compounded mixture of different medications that help numb the surface of the skin. This is most commonly used for microneedling, Sylfirm X, Moxi, Halo, and laser peels. It can also be used for patients prior to the injection of lip filler.
Nerve Block
Nerve blocks involve injecting a form of lidocaine near the branch of a nerve so that the surrounding area becomes numb. These can be used for patients prior to the injection of lip filler. It is also used prior to deeper resurfacing laser treatments for more comfort when treating the deeper layers of the skin.
Pro-Nox
Pro-Nox™ is an FDA cleared analgesia that delivers 50% Nitrous Oxide and 50% Oxygen. Best known for its ability to safely and effectively ease pain, anxiety, and discomfort, Pro-Nox™ is the leading pneumatically-driven gas delivery system on the market for medical and aesthetic patients. This can be used as an add-on to most services for an additional fee.
Note: Patient must remain at the office 20 minutes after completion of treatment for monitoring.
