Sylfirm X also allows the provider to customize settings to deliver more precision during the treatment, increasing results while decreasing potential side effects. The most common treatment areas are the eyelids, face, jawline, neck, and chest. However, additional body areas, such as arms, elbows, knees, thighs, stomach, etc., may also be treated.
The sensation experienced during the treatment varies depending on the treatment area and the depth and intensity of the treatment settings. Unlike other skin treatments like lasers, the treatment area after Sylfirm X experiences minimal heat.
Results may be seen immediately, but full results take up to six months.
Depending on the number of treatment areas included, treatment can take 15-40 minutes. The treatment area needs topical numbing for 45-60 minutes, so patients will be at the office for 1-2 hours total. The best results are seen when treatment areas undergo a series of three treatments spaced four weeks apart.
It is best to stop using Retinoid 48 hours before treatment. A natural tan is okay, but all sunless tanner should be completely removed before the treatment.
After treatment, avoid makeup, sweating, swimming, hot baths, and sauna use for 24 hours. Consult with your provider to determine which skincare products suit your skin post-treatment.
Sylfirm X treatments are extremely safe for all skin types, so side effects are minimal as long as pre- and post-treatment instructions are followed. Common side effects are redness, mild swelling, and minimal discomfort.
